Osman Phillips
Osman came to Canada from England in 1991, with an honours degree in Zoology, a passion for Tai Chi and 14 years experience as a professional photographer. He moved to Salt Spring in 1993 where he continues to study and teach Tai Chi Ch'uan - and to explore and be inspired by nature's art, through photography. He prefers to produce images just as they would appear to the eye, without computer manipulation. " In the close up world there is wonderment to see in every step". He says that he especially looks for images that "resonate with the numinous".
