Anette Schrage
Anette Schrage is a versatile mixed-media artist whose creative journey spans photography, digital art, painting, and collage. Since 2014, she has successfully participated in juried exhibitions, showcasing her innovative work at distinguished events such as the Sooke Fine Art Shows and various independent art shows. Notably, she was recognized as a finalist at the 2023 Parallel Art Show and served as a featured artist at the 2024 'Exquisite Surreal' SSNAP Fundraiser art show. Originally from Germany, Anette's path has taken her through Spain and Southern California before she settled on Saltspring Island in 2012, where she dedicated herself to her art. With a degree in communications and a rich professional background in marketing and art direction, Anette brings a unique perspective to her work. Her expertise has also led her to serve as a juror for the esteemed German Advertising Award 'Comprix' and various photography competitions on Salt Spring Island.
