While visiting some of our kids and grandkids, who were living in Montpellier, France, we were walking in “Le nouveau Musée Fabre” through a contemporary exhibition. I noticed the blind pulled down over the window and could look through it a bit to see the courtyard and buildings. This had a sense of mystery, which I loved. The texture in the fabric of the blind was intriguing to me. I photographed the blind in several versions.
