Tamar Griggs
December 4, 1941 - December 27, 2024

Tamar was a beloved and vibrant member of the Photosynthesis and Salt Spring community for many years. She found great purpose and endless inspiration in photographing wildlife, the moon, and the people around her. Tamar often sat patiently with her camera for hours on end. In harmony with her surroundings and with childlike delight, she loved watching for unknown moments to unfold. Tamar experienced great joy displaying her photos at shows and local markets through her 83rd year. We are sharing one of Tamar’s favourite images of the moon in honor of her full life and her forever presence in our hearts.
